I remember my father showed me this game when I was younger (I'm too young to have known this game when it came out by the way). I thought the game could continue indefinitly, with always new enemies and landscapes, and my skills wouldn't prove me the opposite. It's a bit sad that it just loop until the player dies.

this has some pretty darn good music... surely the game's greatest strength.

How did you trigger those red Compile mascots to appear, the ones that give you an extra life at the beginning?

Not only is this run ingenious, but I also enjoyed your game review you wrote in the description. I had no clue that picking up a weapon gives 5 seconds of invulnerability. My one complaint with the game is that it seems that the 6 weapon type for each ship is the strongest, but a skilled player can obviously utilize the invulnerability to extreme lengths.
